Wrapping Up the 2025 Summer Harvest

As the summer sun sets over Saratoga, we’re reflecting on another beautiful harvest season here at Novakovich Orchards — filled with juicy fruit, community connections, and plenty of sweet memories.

A Season of Abundance

We kicked off the summer with a decent crop of Bing cherries, a bright and cheerful start to the season. From there, we shifted into high gear for Blenheim apricot season — one of our biggest highlights of the year. Our trees were full of fruit, leading to a strong and plentiful harvest.

Alongside the apricots, our Santa Rosa plums ripened beautifully, offering their rich, tart sweetness that our customers look forward to every year. And unlike past summers, the weather was surprisingly mild — which meant our peach and nectarine season stretched longer than usual, allowing us to share fresh fruit well into late summer.

Saratoga Classic & Cool Car Show Recap 🚗🍑

This summer also marked our 14th year participating in the Saratoga Classic & Cool Car Show — a local tradition we’re proud to be a part of. For the second year in a row, our Peaches & Cream stand was a fan favorite, drawing smiles from both longtime neighbors and first-time visitors.

A heartfelt thank you to Gabe and Leslie, who helped us run the stand all day. It was the perfect summer day filled with sunshine, cars, music, and community spirit.If you missed out this year — don’t worry! The event usually happens at the end of July, so be sure to come by next summer (or the one after!) to say hello and enjoy a treat.

What’s Next at the Orchard 🍁

While the summer harvest has wrapped up, the season isn’t over just yet!Our persimmons and pomegranates are ripening on the trees and will be available soon. Keep an eye on our social media pages for updates on when they’ll be ready at the fruit stand.

And then comes our busiest time of the year…🎁 Holiday Gift Boxes are right around the corner — along with our famous Chocolate Dipped Apricots and Apricot Turtles. We’ll begin making chocolate-dipped products in early to mid-November and start shipping gift boxes by mid to late November.
