As we move deeper into June, the orchard is quickly transitioning from apricot season into peaches and nectarines. Here's the latest from the farm!
Apricot Season Update
Our beloved Blenheim apricot season is beginning to wind down.
With the heat wave we've experienced over the past week, much of the remaining crop has ripened very quickly, and some fruit has unfortunately been affected by sunburn. As a result, our focus has shifted toward preserving the harvest through drying and jam production.
Because of this, we are no longer offering apricot lugs for sale this season.

Speaking of drying apricots, after two grueling days on the dry yard, Dan, Luciano, and the crew have finished washing trays and are now hard at work cutting and laying out apricots to dry. The dry yard is officially in full swing, and we're excited to begin producing another batch of our famous dried Blenheim apricots.
Santa Rosa Plum Season Has Ended
Our Santa Rosa plum season has officially come to a close. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to enjoy this year's crop. We look forward to welcoming them back again next summer!
Peach & Nectarine Season Has Arrived
While one season winds down, another is already ramping up!
Peaches and nectarines are arriving a bit earlier than we anticipated this year, and we're excited to have several varieties already available:
White Babcock Peaches
Red Haven Yellow Peaches
Fay Elberta Yellow Peaches
Red Gold Cling Nectarines
This is just the beginning of peach and nectarine season. We expect to have many additional varieties available over the coming weeks, so be sure to check back often to see what's fresh at the fruit stand.
Saratoga Classic & Cool Car Show – July 26
Mark your calendars for one of our favorite events of the year!
The Novakovich Orchards family will be returning to the 15th Annual Saratoga Classic & Cool Car Show on Sunday, July 26, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
As always, we'll be serving our crowd-favorite Peaches & Cream, and we can't wait to share this tradition with the community once again. It's one of the highlights of our summer and a wonderful opportunity to connect with so many familiar faces.
Thank you, as always, for supporting our family orchard. Your support means the world to us, and we're looking forward to continuing another season of fresh fruit, local events, and cherished traditions with all of you. We hope to see you at the fruit stand soon!
