Gearing Up for Summer: Fresh Fruit Updates & Where to Find Us

As we head into another exciting season at Novakovich Orchards, we wanted to share a few updates and what you can expect in the coming months.

Chocolate Dipped Apricots & Apricot Turtles – Just in Time for Mother’s Day

We currently have a limited batch of our chocolate dipped apricots available for pickup—perfect if you’re looking for a sweet treat to enjoy (or not share 😊).

We’ll also be making a fresh batch of our fan-favorite apricot turtles this Tuesday or Wednesday, just in time for Mother’s Day. If you’re thinking about picking up something special, these make a great gift for moms who love a little something sweet.

Fresh Fruit Season Update

We’re gearing up for the fresh fruit season, which is always our favorite time of year. Typically, we kick things off with cherries in late May or early June. However, this season has presented some challenges—not just for us, but for many orchards across Silicon Valley. The stretch of 90-degree heat we experienced in early March unfortunately burned many of the cherry blossoms just as they were beginning to develop, which means cherry availability may be limited this year.

On a more positive note, our apricots, plums, peaches, prunes, and nectarines are looking healthy and are progressing well so far. We’re hopeful for a strong season with those fruits and can’t wait to share them with you.

Starting for the rest of summer, we’ll be providing weekly updates on fruit availability so you know exactly when to stop by the fruit stand and what’s fresh. Be sure to check back here so you don’t miss out.

Blossom Festival – Saturday, June 13

We’re excited to once again be part of the Blossom Festival on Saturday, June 13 from 10 AM to 4 PM. This is always such a fun community event, and we love getting the chance to connect with so many of you in person.

We’ll have a stand set up featuring a selection of our fresh products along with some of our preserved favorites. If you’re attending, please stop by, say hello, and support local growers—we’d truly love to see you there.

Saratoga Classic & Cool Car Show – Sunday, July 26

Mark your calendars for one of the highlights of the summer! We’ll be back at the 15th Annual Saratoga Classic & Cool Car Show on Sunday, July 26 from 10 AM to 4 PM.

As always, we’ll be serving our crowd-favorite Peaches & Cream, and we can’t wait to bring that tradition back again this year. It’s one of our favorite events, and we look forward to seeing so many familiar faces come out to support us.
